Mother’s Day

Another year gone and children a year older or even a new one in the house, and still the thing that remains the same is what I want for Mother’s Day, ALONE TIME! My husband use to think it was so rude and weird that on a day that celebrates motherhood I want to be away from the little humans that gave me that title. I can only speak for myself on this one but “me time” is important and if I can get a “free day” without feeling Guilty about it, why not? right? Mothers everywhere have given there all 24 hours a day to their children, even if they are hard working moms that don’t work from home, giving their ALL!!! I can’t imagine how hard it must be to leave home for 8 to 10 hours a day to work and come home to work as well, different kind of work, but still giving their ALL to our little people! With the struggles I have had recently coping with motherhood I have decided to take every moment tomorrow to enjoy and appreciate those littles. Yes! I will be taking full advantage of sleeping in and getting my coffee in bed and no chores all day long, but I will not leave my house unless my kids are with me, and let me just say the husband is on day 7 of working doubles and nights, so I need it, but I’m willing to try something new this year and I encourage you all to do the same, and this doesn’t mean a postponed day alone later on in the week either! You will get your “me time” soon! Happy Mothers Day!
